Friday and Saturday programmes of the festival were more intimate and offered a chance to relax and enjoy folk songs, dances, costumes, exhibitions or a glass of wine in Vlcnov wine cellars, called "búdy". Saturday evening culminated in the Passing of the King’s rule and night with traditional folk music in the Club or in the "búdy". Sunday was the main day of the Vlcnov festival. In spite of hot weather, which tested ability of both performers and visitors to bear it, the unique tradition of Vlčnov's Ride continues. Before midday, the varied programme about the whole village was crowned by the Ride of the Kings through Vlcnov, a folk costume procession of approx. 300 people and "Songs for the King" programm at the TJ Stadium.
